Mary,
WA does offer free sites (on a sub-domain) to allow members to build test sites and to allow free members to "test the waters" and see if this business is right for them.
WA does encourage you to buy your own domain name as would any serious blogger or webmaster. If you can't handle $12 per year for your own domain name, business ownership is probably not for you.
As Wendy said, it's only $29 per month if you pay yearly. The keyword research tool provided by WA (no extra charge) is worth the cost of the membership alone! And even that only scratches the surface of the value they provide their members.

As a starter WA member you don't technically own the free websites provided as they're subdomains. You are correct, if you choose to upgrade then you cannot downgrade your account back to free.. but everything is saved for you until you can upgrade again, it isn't lost.

However, as a PAYING member of Wealthy Affiliate you are provided hosting for an unlimited amount of your OWN websites. You don't have any option to use your own sites as a paying member of Pure Leverage or Empower Network, so there's a pretty big difference. I should also mention the monthly pricing for premium is $47, not $79. There's also a yearly option which averages out to $29 per month.

my understanding is you don't own your own website at wealthy affiliate either. I was told that you can join for free but have limited training unless you upgrade to $79.00 per month.then if you can not afford it ,you cannot go bake to free.your account gets cancelled and you loose your blog and all content.

I do think there's a point when people joining in are expecting to make a lot of money, especially when they are interested in selling the product and not using the tools. If you join for the autoresponder, that's cool, but they're not really promoting or selling it as such. Buying into advertising can get expensive and lose people money if they don't know what they're doing. Anyway I respect your opinion and glad you found something that works for you.

I think your pureleverage review is very negative. Also their really is no point posting them stats. The main product of pureleverage is the autoresponder. I do aggree that they should change the sales video to talk more about the autoresponder.

They have a really good pay plan which in my opinion is better than empower network as you get paid on everyone that signs up instead of every 4. Also the 50% matching bonus of each person income is a first as far as I know.

Yes a lot of people fail but lots of people don't even attempt to buy advertising and give up to easily.

It should be easy to get a profit with this business because because the percentage you get paid is very good at 100% and 50%

Thanks
