Having your own site is important if you want to make serious money on the internet. After first deciding WHAT you want to market or make your online business about, (essentially you need to know your niche), you first create a website. Having your own piece of property on the internet is comparatively like owning a piece of real estate in the physical world. You wouldn’t start up a business on the side of the road, would you? Sure, you can set up that lemonade stand, but how far is that really going to take you towards success?
Essentially it comes down to this, having your own piece of space within the internet is going to lead to your success, and ultimately financial freedom if you take it that far.
I know, everyone is curious to know exactly how having a website will make you money. Well, there are many ways you can make money from your site. These are some of the most common ways, and the ways in which I have personally made money online:
People also can sell their OWN products and services via their websites, too. People are earning tons of money utilizing these strategies, every single day.
It’s really easy to start up your own site. Website builders have advanced so much these days, it’s as simple as a few clicks! Knowing HTML isn’t required. They have “visual” editors nowadays which let you produce content in a clean way, just as if you were writing a document in Microsoft Word or uploading files to e-mail or Facebook, it’s no more complex than any of the simple tasks you are already preforming on a daily basis!
(You can refer to the link I posted down below on how to start up your own website in less than a minute!)
Anyone can purchase a domain name easily. Companies like Namecheap, 1and1.com, and Godaddy provide decent services for that, and they also provide web hosting too (but you can host your website wherever you want). A domain name will only run you about 10 bucks a year, give or take.
You’ll have to shell out an additional few bucks per month for web hosting, although I wouldn’t consider it a huge expense. I’ve seen it range anywhere from 4 to 20 bucks per month, depending on where you host and what kind of service you get.
If you don’t want to the spend money initially, you can get websites for free!
It’s okay, if you’re unsure about whether you’re ready to invest money to a website, there’s several places online in which you can start up websites for free, too. You won’t actually own the domain, but it’s a good start for those just wanting to test out the waters of online entrepreneurship.
That doesn’t look that hard, does it?
If you’re serious about success online, you have to treat it like a job. You need to put aside a set amount of time every day, or every week, to work on your website. The amount of time you set aside for your site is up to you, but ultimately the more you work, the greater your success will be. Even if you can only manage an hour or two each night, that’s still a start–and over time that adds up to success!
Having your own income source from the internet is great, but there is no such thing as becoming a millionaire online overnight. It takes time, dedication and hard work.
If you’re looking for a quick way to earn a buck and don’t have a lot of time, marketing online may not be the best choice for you. I can tell you personally it took me 4 months before I saw a dime, and for others, they see the money roll in only after a few weeks. And, for others, it might take longer. But once you do start seeing that money, it’s very encouraging– and it’s only the beginning. .
Just realize this, if you are willing to sacrifice just a year of your life to learning and practicing how to properly make money online, you will be able to enjoy the benefits for the rest of your life. The more time you invest into your business, the greater the chances of seeing success sooner.
If you’re serious about the whole making money online thing, and having the freedom to work from your very own home, but you don’t know much about well, anything when it comes to the process, I’d recommend joining an online business community that will help you out along the way!
