Just to be clear, I am really careful about what I call a scam when it comes to online programs (people don’t realize how easily you can get sued) but in this case, the verdict for Online Flex Job? Scam!
The reason I’m not hesitant to say that is because this isn’t even a real program or “job” opportunity, nor is it new. I did a review of a website called myflexjob.com years ago that is essentially the same. You can go check it out and read the comments from unsuspecting people that fell for it (or almost did). There are more programs just like this as well.
You can go try to visit myflexjob.com and see that it no longer exists. You just get redirected.
The thing is, there is a completely legit work at home job board called flexjobs.com, which actually vets all their job postings thoroughly so you know all the jobs posted are completely for legit work at home companies.
These flex job sites try to play on that. If someone hears about “flexjobs” and tries to Google it, maybe they end up somewhere like Online Flex Job and think it’s what people were talking about, so they think it’s legit. Don’t fall for it!
So what is Online Flex Job exactly?
Online Flex Job, located at onlineflexjob.com, pretends to be a real work at home job opportunity in which you’ll work as a flex worker for fortune 500 companies.
They claim you’ll be connecting with companies and doing processing jobs because there’s such a huge demand for them. But they’re super vague about what that means and don’t tell you any more information.
The reality is, it’s just a trick to make money from you.

The 3 Warning Signs Online Flex Job is really just a scam
#1. Your application is instantly approved
I mean, all you have to do is click the “submit your application” button and you’re instantly approved to start working? Any legitimate work at home job isn’t going to operate like that. You’re going to have to fill out and submit an application just like any other job.
#2. You have to pay for software
Before you can start working, you’ll need to purchase an antivirus software program for your computer, claiming it’s to protect customers’ sensitive information.
Furthermore, you can’t even get any details into what the job is until after you’ve paid for it. You’re supposedly reimbursed once you email your receipt to them, but I would not trust them. They’re clearly up to something.
You’d never be asked to do that from a real company. You might need special software to start working, but that is not the way it’d be dealt with. A legit company won’t make you pay to start working for the
Being asked to pay for something out of pocket upfront, before you know any more information about it, is a red flag that the job opportunity is a scam.
Why you’re really being asked to purchase the anti-virus software
The reality is they are getting paid for you to download the product. They’re taking advantage of an affiliate offer and tricking you into thinking you need to purchase this for a job.
This is so highly deceptive and unethical, yet there’s an endless stream of “work at home job opportunities” like this that take advantage of that and try to trick people.
#3. It’s just like MyFlexJob (which no longer exists)
The reality is that there are probably other programs like this too, there are just so many on the internet. They typically come and go, domains change over so they can rebrand and keep the scam going over and over again.
While Online Flex Job doesn’t give much information other than “you’ll be working as a processor for fortune 500 companies”, I’m going to guess it’s similar to what MyFlexJob was like.
Basically how it works is like this – you’re completing offers from these different fortune 500 companies to earn credits. These could be things like signing up for a free trial subscription, filling out a credit card application, or even buying a product.
Once you earn a minimum amount of credits, you can cash out for real money.
But the thing is, this is NOT a job! And with each of these offers, you’re going to be putting down your credit card information. While most of them are “free” as in you can cancel the subscription or service before your trial period starts, some of them cost money upfront. Even so, who wants to worry about canceling a thousand different trial offers? Some of those companies sure make it a pain in the behind.
And you’re not even going to be paid that much for doing all this. The whole point is whoever is behind Online Flex Job is getting paid for when you fill out these offers, so that’s the real reason behind it.
The Bottom Line
Online Flex Job, My Flex Job, Legit Flex Job, Flex [insert something here] whatever… they’re all the same thing and it’s not a real work at home job.
If you really are interested in checking out real work at home job opportunities, check out flexjobs.com (actually legit). It’s a job board that vets their job postings to make sure it’s not full of scams.
Since the work from home industry is so rampant in scams and people trying to prey on the innocent, a service like that is really needed.
